Highlights

The Ohio-Israel Chamber, since its establishment in 1996, has:

• Worked with more than 500 Israeli and US companies to assist in business activities
• Assisted 16 Israeli companies to co-locate facilities to Northeast Ohio
• Organized the largest automotive and aerospace business exchange to come to Ohio of Israeli and US companies.
• Organized two life sciences missions to and from Israel. The mission to Cleveland attracted over 1,000 attendees resulting in a number of agreements
• As the official representative of the US-Israel Binational Research and Development Fund (BIRD), obtained over $5 million in project funding for 5 individual projects
• Assisted three Israeli companies in obtaining over $3 million in venture capital
• Assisted local companies in the acquisition of Israeli companies
• Lead national venture capital mission to Israel to introduce Israeli technologies
• Carried out marketing studies and consulting assignments for Fortune 500 companies
• Received special award from the Israeli Prime Minister for promoting bi-lateral trade
• Recognized by Northern Ohio Live Magazine for accomplishments in addressing regional and economic development issues
• Performed consulting assignments for the Berlitz organization on cultural awareness
• Sole organization in Ohio dedicated to bi-lateral business between Ohio and Israel
• Facilitated Cleveland Clinic-Technion Collaboration in stem cell research
• Consultants to Israel Export Institute and Consulates in Toronto and Chicago
